J. Edward Pollock
Agricultural Analyst
Inspection Services & Agricultural Resources
A third generation rancher, Ed leads agricultural resource assessment and land inspection services for the Foley Group. He provides specialized expertise in the evaluation of ranch and rural properties for prospective land buyers and real estate professionals.
After attending the University of Wyoming, Ed managed a successful cow/calf operation for over 20 years. During this time period, he gained specialized expertise in the cattle industry, farm production, and outfitting and guest ranching services.
Most recently he managed and led the expansion of a large Wyoming ranch. As part of this effort, Ed provided inspection services supporting the acquisition of several thousand acres of new property for the ranch owner. This included analyzing agricultural resources, infrastructure and production capacity for a wide variety of rural lands. He has also been an integral part of a number of privately held real estate projects.

Ed's specialized knowledge and on-the-ground experience in the fields of water resource development, cattle production, range science, wildlife habitat, public lands issues, neighboring landowner issues, ranch operations, guest services, and building and construction management have proven invaluable to Foley Group clients. His expertise in the evaluation of ranch and rural properties for prospective land buyers provides a real world perspective in determining "does this parcel of land have the resources I need" or, "can this parcel be developed into the type of ranch I want" as well as, "what issues might I be confronted with if I purchase this property?"
When free time allows, Ed enjoys backcountry-guiding, elk hunting and traveling abroad.
